Building up the Wall; Standing on the Gap
Message from the Founders
Poverty has deprived people from physical, social, psychological and spiritual wellbeing. Lack of access to health promotion, prevention and curative care; nutritious food; education; safe drinking water sources; food security and other social services has resulted in ill health and premature death. Moreover, poverty has also been a cause of conflict and social unrest, threats, and wars resulting in loss of lives, disabilities and displacements. The psychological and emotional costs are so much more not only in its geographical dimensions but also it is trans-generational and affecting those who have not lived during the conflict or have done nothing to its initiation.
It’s never too late for people to think and re-shape their attitudes; and make an informed decision for the betterment their health, and peaceful co-existence with different groups. Peace and stability are key to the development of a country, and therefore it’s everyone’s responsibility to build the broken wall and it’s everyone’s responsibility to stand on the gap! Governments, the Private sector, Academia, Non-Governmental civic societies and Communities all have responsibility to share. We’ll do our part by bringing them all together; help them act quickly against any incoming or existing danger for the betterment and safety of everyone!
